Global advertising revenues at AOL grew for the first time since 2008 in the second quarter of 2011, while the net loss at the troubled internet company fell by 99% to $11.8m (£7.2m).

Nintendo UK has signed a deal with The Cloud, BSkyB's mobile broadband service, to give Nintendo 3DS users free access to all of their 5,000 WiFi access points in the UK.
