This is cool. We’ve seen some good YouTube videos where you can interact with what happens on screen with Tipex last year and then we had Beer brand Desperados earlier this year.

Twitter has suffered a market share drop in the UK according to data from Experian Hitwise. In its latest UK Search Engine and Social Analysis it says that Twitter suffered a market share loss, falling from 3.87 to 3.40%, significant?

Two of world's biggest corporations have launched a joint web-venture that will allow users to search store-specific promotions across Walmart's 3,500+ US retail locations through a customizable Facebook app.

Walmart's 9.4m Facebook fans will be able to search the store nearest them and find deals on everything from LED TVs to Halloween candy. Promotions will be at store-level, so local events will dictate "rollback alerts" sent to app users, from football matches to inclement weather.

There are headlines like ‘BlackBerry users angry at failure’, BlackBerry service disrupted on 4 continents and Blackberry’s message goes missing across the web. It started early on Monday came back briefly and then was gone again for all of Tuesday and still today.

Cost of advertising on Facebook shoots up 54% as ad spend rises 25%

Facebook adspend has increased 25% during the third quarter of 2011, according to research by performance marketing firm Efficient Frontier.

Its quarterly report into digital marketing also highlights a sharp rise in that the cost of advertising on Facebook. It says that cost-per-clicks increased by 54% in Q3 over Q2.

Facebook has created and launched a best practice guide for public figures and celebrities, with step-by-step advice on how to create, build and maintain a public presence on Facebook.

It shows how important Facebook has become for celebrities and public figures in managing their reputation with fans. There's advice on how to develop a compelling identity online (unsurprisingly, Lady Gaga features heavily here), how to develop a posting plan, being authentic and building awareness. Telegraph website with Crilly tweetsYesterday everyone was very excited about the Guardian’s decision to put its news lists online and ‘open up its news coverage‘, which was a nice turn and gave a little look under the bonnet of the news process at the Guardian. It was another example of how news organisations are becoming more social, collaborative even, allowing their readers to get involved in the news process much earlier.
