Social media data company Simply Measured has produced this infographic to show the level of chat/interest or noise relating to last night’s Facebook f8 announcement.

I’ve not seen any sentiment analysis yet, but looking at blogs and Twitter it seems pretty split to me. A lot of people are liking f8, are excited about the changes, while there are others who hate it.

A nice infographic here from Eloqua and JESS3. They’ve collaborated and created an infographic called The Blog Tree: New Growth, which celebrates a very important group of bloggers. New ones.

It turns a hackneyed "top blogs list" into a rich, playful visual that not only lists new marketing blogs, but also shows the interrelationships between and among them.

Another series of tweets have appeared from the rogue ghost Twitter writer who appears to have posted an ad for a new ghost writer and another saying another of his ghost writers have quit.

Twitter is launching its first Promoted Trend ads in the UK today and Sky has been revealed as the first advertiser with a number of others lined up.

Sky will be advertising the third series of Glee, which starts on Sky tonight sponsored by Cadbury Diary Milk, after moving from Channel 4.

Twitter and text have always gone together, but if you ever have trouble getting a photo onto Twitter while on the move then this should help out.

Starting today, you can share photos on Twitter by including a photo in your text message. Considering that every month nearly four billion SMS messages are sent and received on Twitter that could be a lot of pictures.

Twitter acquires social search firm Julpan

Ori Allon Julpan Chairman and CEOTwitter has acquired a tech firm called Julpa, which specialises in analysing the way people share information on the social web, for an undisclosed sum.

Julpan ws founded by Ori Allon who previously created a search algorithm called Orion that he sold to Google in 2006.
