Lord Sugar: discusses advertising and the media at NabsSpeaking at an advertising event hosted by Nabs last week, Lord Sugar (@lord_sugar) took questions from the 500 strong audience via a live Twitter wall.

When asked about his thoughts on how social media shapes consumer habits, as well as his love/hate twitter relationship with his big Twitter rival Piers Morgan, Lord Sugar responded by calling him a "twat".

Formed as part of Simon Cowell’s one off battle of the sexes “Popstars – The Rivals”, the five piece had been on sabbatical, with members releasing their own material, and Cheryl Cole featuring on Cowell’s X-Factor.

It asks women to upload a pic of their dodgiest socks to get a discount from 10%-100%.

The campaign echoes what some other fashion brands have done such as Uniqlos tweet to get the price down and shoe brand Miista giving a greater discount if the person who tweets has a high ranking on Klout.
